The heart of AWS Nepal is to see orphan, poor, unprivileged, oppressed and marginalized children of the community being restored holistically. AWS Nepal believes that the best way to make this vision a reality is by providing basic needs such as shelter, food, cloth, health, and education. AWS Nepal promotes and ensures the rights of the orphan, poor, unprivileged, oppressed and marginalized children, enabling them to realize their potentiality and empowering them to become responsible citizens. Besides this, AWS Nepal is dedicated to quick disaster response, advocacy and Livelihoods for poor families through Income Generating Program (IGP).
AWS Nepal started with the great hope to change the life of children and help people groups who are in desperate need of the year AD 01-03-2005 (BS 2061/11/18). Later in AD 05-09-2011 (BS 2068/05/19) was registered with the government of Nepal at Kathmandu District Administration Office (DAO) under the act 2034 and affiliated with the Social Welfare Council (SWC). The registration numbers are DAO 242 and SWC 34044. Its central office situated in Ward No. – 3, Bansbari, Kathmandu, Nepal.
